Background information on cancellation

For private customers (B2C)

As a consumer, you benefit from the statutory rules for fair consumer contracts. After any minimum term has expired, your contract is extended for an indefinite period and can be canceled at any time with one month’s notice.

For business customers (B2B)

For contracts with businesses, the individually agreed terms and notice periods apply in accordance with our B2B Terms and Conditions. In this case, the contract is automatically renewed for the originally agreed term unless it is canceled in due time.

What happens after you submit:

  1. Confirmation of receipt: Immediately after submitting, you will receive an automatic email confirming receipt of your cancellation notice.
  2. Review: We review your contract details and the applicable notice period based on the plan you selected.
  3. Final confirmation: Shortly afterwards, we will send you a final confirmation stating the exact end date of your contract.
Note on data backup: Please remember to back up your data (backups, emails, databases) yourself before the contract ends. Once the cancellation takes effect, the associated instances and data will be irrevocably deleted in accordance with our security policies.
