Welcome to Nexthosting – Getting Started

Welcome to Nexthosting. In this article, you will get a quick overview of how your customer account is structured, which features are available to you, and how to make the best use of support, security and the management of your services.

1. Your Customer Account at a Glance

In your customer area, you manage your booked products, invoices, payment methods, contract data and technical services centrally in one place. Depending on the product you have booked, you can view and manage game servers, VPS, domains, web hosting services and other services there, among other things.

After ordering and activation, you can usually find all the important information in your customer account, such as:

  • Access credentials and product overviews
  • Invoices and payment status
  • Contract and term information
  • Support requests and communication
  • Optional additional features and integrations

2. Ordering, Activation and Management

After a successful order, your product is provisioned – depending on the payment method, verification and product type. You can then manage the booked services directly through your customer area.

Depending on the product and the chosen configuration, different term and billing models are available. In addition, existing services can – where available – be expanded, adjusted or supplemented later.

3. Security of Your Account

To secure your customer account, we strongly recommend activating two-factor authentication (2FA). This gives your account additional protection against unauthorized access.

You can also grant other accounts targeted access to your account or to specific areas if several people in your company or project are involved in management. This lets you organize responsibilities cleanly without sharing login credentials insecurely.

4. Support and Direct Contact

For technical or organizational matters, you can submit support requests through the ticket system at any time. Please describe your issue as precisely as possible and include relevant information such as the product, error message and affected service.

For direct contact by phone, you have a personal support PIN. You must provide it for requests made by phone so that your request can be clearly matched to your account and handled securely.

5. Payment Methods and SEPA Mandates

In your customer account, you can – where offered – manage various payment methods. This includes the option to store a SEPA mandate so that recurring payments can be handled conveniently.

Please make sure your stored payment details are up to date, so that there are no delays, open invoices or interruptions to your services.

6. API Integration and Automation

For more advanced technical integrations, an API integration can be used. It is particularly suitable for automated processes, external systems or custom workflows.

Whether and to what extent an API is used in your case depends on the features that have been enabled and on your intended use.

7. Data Protection, Access Requests and Data Processing Agreement

If you use Nexthosting for business purposes or on behalf of third parties, a data processing agreement (DPA) can – depending on your use case – be concluded.

In addition, a data access request in JSON format is possible. This allows your stored data to be provided in a structured form, for example for documentation, audit or migration purposes.

8. Affiliate Program

Nexthosting also offers you the option to take part in the affiliate program. This allows referrals, brokered sales or partner activities to be systematically tracked and compensated, provided the program's requirements are met.

9. Recommended First Steps After Registration

  • Activate 2FA for your customer account
  • Check your contact details and billing details
  • Store a SEPA mandate if needed
  • Make a note of your support PIN for requests by phone
  • Set up additional user access if needed
  • Check the available API and affiliate features
  • Use the ticket system for technical or organizational questions

10. Conclusion

Your Nexthosting customer account gives you a central platform for management, support, security, billing and technical integrations. If you check the most important settings right at the start, you create a clean and secure foundation for your continued use of our services.

If you need help, you can submit a support request at any time.
