Prices, payment, terms, and cancellation.
Yes, the prices shown are final prices. Nexthosting applies the small business exemption under Section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG): nothing is added to the price, and no VAT is shown on the invoice. For this reason there is no input tax deduction. The details in the order process are authoritative.
PayPal, credit card, SEPA direct debit, Klarna, SOFORT, bank transfer, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Business customers can also pay by invoice. You can see which options are available for your order at checkout.

When the cancellation takes effect depends on the term: monthly plans for VPS and game servers end at the end of the billing month, while for web hosting and WordPress the term you chose applies. Yes, with many game servers you can use mods, plugins, addons, or Workshop content. Exactly what is supported depends on the game and the server software.
All current and older Minecraft Java versions from 1.8, including snapshots; you can switch the version at any time in the control panel. You install Forge, Fabric, Paper, or Spigot with one click, and you set up modpacks from CurseForge and Modrinth directly in the panel.
No, you do not need a separate FiveM license; all you need is a legitimate copy of GTA V. txAdmin is preinstalled in every package, and common frameworks such as ESX, QBCore, vRP, and ox_core are supported.
Yes. Depending on the game and package, automatic backups are created, which you restore with one click in the control panel. You can also create your own backups at any time. How often backups run (for example daily or hourly) and from which package on is listed on the respective game page.
That depends on the game, the number of players, the number of mods, and the overall load. Small vanilla servers usually need fewer resources than large or heavily customized community servers. If you are unsure, ask us before ordering.

Yes. As a registered customer, you can use the free GMod Loading Screen Generator and create up to 10 loading screens with a live preview. You get a ready-made URL that you enter in your server.cfg as sv_loadingurl; you do not need your own web hosting for this.

If you work with WordPress, choose WordPress Hosting: WordPress is preinstalled, and WP Toolkit, staging, and Redis are included from the entry-level plan. If you want to use another CMS, your own PHP, or Node.js, web hosting is a better fit. There you get more storage for your money and SSH in every plan.
With WordPress Hosting, one on Starter, three on Basic, five on Pro, and ten on Business, each with its own installation, its own databases, and its own staging environment. With web hosting, you add further domains as addon domains: 5 on Starter, up to 100 on Business.

Registration, transfer, and DNS.
Many domains are active shortly after a successful order and payment. Depending on the extension and the responsible registry, final registration can occasionally take longer. You can check whether your desired domain is available in the domain check.
Yes. For the transfer you need the auth code (also called EPP code) from your current provider. In the domain check, you start the transfer via “Move” next to your domain. How long it takes depends on the extension and the registry.
Yes. You can leave the domain there and point it to your web hosting, VPS, or server via DNS, or transfer it to us. Both work.
Depending on the product you book and its management interface, you set records such as A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, or TXT yourself, for example for websites, mail services, and verifications.

Our core location is a Tier III+ certified data center in Frankfurt am Main with a direct DE-CIX connection. Power supply and cooling are redundant following the N+1 principle, complemented by a UPS and a backup generator. Yes. DDoS protection is integrated by default for game servers, web hosting, WordPress Hosting, and VPS. The protection is multi-layered, including via Cloudflare, with a protection capacity of 100 Gbit/s. For VPS, you can add extra DDoS capacity on request.
For game servers, VPS, web hosting, WordPress Hosting, dedicated servers, and Discord bot hosting, we commit to 99.9% availability as a monthly average. Our Service Level Agreement (SLA) sets out how availability is measured, what does not count as downtime, and when you receive a service credit. We usually announce planned maintenance at least 48 hours in advance and schedule it for low-load periods.
