NVMe SSDs are attached directly to the fast PCIe interface and transfer many times what a SATA SSD can manage. You notice it in everything that reads and writes many small files: game worlds, databases, containers.

Most of these servers have two identical NVMe SSDs. Mirrored, the server keeps running if one of them fails.

What matters

  1. Two drives, one mirror

    With two identical SSDs you set up a mirror during installation. The usable space then equals one drive.

  2. Datacenter class for continuous load

    SSDs labeled “Datacenter” are built for many write operations – right for databases and virtualization.

  3. Choose the right size

    2 × 512 GB is enough for game servers and web projects. For backups, media or many virtual machines, choose 2 × 1 TB or more.

Processor, RAM and drives belong to your server alone. You may run them at full load permanently.
Root access
Full access via SSH. You install Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux with one click in the customer area.
Connection
1 Gbit/s, unlimited traffic at no extra cost. Fair use under our acceptable use policy applies.
IP address
One IPv4 address is included in the price. You set the reverse DNS entry (rDNS) yourself.
Protection
The data center’s automatic DDoS protection is active at no extra charge.
In the customer area
Restart, rescue system, reinstall and SSH keys – without a ticket.
Contract
No setup fee, minimum term from 1 month. If you pay further in advance, you save up to 15%.

Frequently asked questions

Is the stated storage usable?

The figure is the sum of all drives before RAID. If you mirror two drives, half of it remains as usable space.

NVMe or SATA SSD – can you tell the difference?

Clearly when starting game worlds, with databases and when unpacking large archives. Hardly for a web server with little data.

How quickly is my server ready?

We provision the server once your payment has arrived. You receive the access details by email, and they are also shown in the customer area. The server starts in the rescue system; you then install your operating system with one click.

Is there a setup fee or a long term?

No. There is no setup fee, and the minimum term starts at one month. If you pay six or twelve months in advance, the monthly price goes down – you can see the prices on the server’s page.

Why do servers disappear from the list?

Every server is one of a kind. As soon as someone has rented it, it is gone, and others are added. The list is updated every few minutes.

Can I upgrade the server later?

A server’s hardware is fixed. If your project grows, you order a larger server, move over and cancel the old one at the end of its term.
