EPYC is AMD’s server line. An EPYC 7502P comes with 32 cores, 64 threads and around 51,000 points – hardly any other server on the list has more parallel performance.

It is the right choice when many things run at the same time: dozens of virtual machines, containers, build and render jobs, or many game servers side by side.

What matters

  1. Many cores instead of high clock speed

    An EPYC spreads load across a very large number of cores. Per core it is slower than a current Ryzen – so it is not the first choice for a single game server.

  2. Registered ECC

    EPYC servers run on server-class ECC RAM, usually 128 GB or more.

  3. Datacenter NVMe

    The EPYC servers have datacenter-class NVMe SSDs, designed for continuous load.

Processor, RAM and drives belong to your server alone. You may run them at full load permanently.
Root access
Full access via SSH. You install Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux with one click in the customer area.
Connection
1 Gbit/s, unlimited traffic at no extra cost. Fair use under our acceptable use policy applies.
IP address
One IPv4 address is included in the price. You set the reverse DNS entry (rDNS) yourself.
Protection
The data center’s automatic DDoS protection is active at no extra charge.

Restart, rescue system, reinstall and SSH keys – without a ticket.
Contract
No setup fee, minimum term from 1 month. If you pay further in advance, you save up to 15%.

Frequently asked questions

When is an EPYC worth it?

For virtualization with Proxmox or KVM, for container platforms, CI systems and wherever many processes work at the same time.

EPYC or Ryzen?

Ryzen if individual cores need to be fast. EPYC if you need many cores and a lot of RAM at the same time.

How quickly is my server ready?

We provision the server once your payment has arrived. You receive the access details by email, and they are also shown in the customer area. The server starts in the rescue system; you then install your operating system with one click.

Is there a setup fee or a long term?

No. There is no setup fee, and the minimum term starts at one month. If you pay six or twelve months in advance, the monthly price goes down – you can see the prices on the server’s page.

Why do servers disappear from the list?

Every server is one of a kind. As soon as someone has rented it, it is gone, and others are added. The list is updated every few minutes.

Can I upgrade the server later?

A server’s hardware is fixed. If your project grows, you order a larger server, move over and cancel the old one at the end of its term.
