Xeon servers are built for continuous operation. Almost all of them have ECC RAM, which detects and corrects single-bit errors – important when data sits in memory and on the drives for months.

On top of that you get a lot of RAM for the money: Xeon E5 and Xeon W are available with 128 and 256 GB RAM. A Xeon W-2295 comes with 18 cores and 36 threads.

What matters

  1. ECC protects your data

    Without ECC, a flipped bit goes unnoticed and can damage a database or a file system. With ECC it is corrected.

  2. A lot of RAM per euro

    The older Xeon E5 models are slower per core than recent processors, but offer the most RAM for the money – good for many virtual machines and large caches.

  3. Datacenter SSDs

    Many Xeon servers have datacenter-class SSDs. They are designed for continuous load and many write operations.

Processor, RAM and drives belong to your server alone. You may run them at full load permanently.
Root access
Full access via SSH. You install Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux with one click in the customer area.
Connection
1 Gbit/s, unlimited traffic at no extra cost. Fair use under our acceptable use policy applies.
IP address
One IPv4 address is included in the price. You set the reverse DNS entry (rDNS) yourself.
Protection
The data center’s automatic DDoS protection is active at no extra charge.

Frequently asked questions

Which Xeon is the fastest?

The Xeon W-2295 with 18 cores and around 29,700 points, followed by the Xeon W-2145 and the Xeon E models with six cores. The points are shown on every server.

Are Xeon servers good for game servers?

For many small game servers, yes, because they bring many threads and a lot of RAM. For a single large server with high load per core, a current Ryzen or Core i9 is faster.

How quickly is my server ready?

We provision the server once your payment has arrived. You receive the access details by email, and they are also shown in the customer area. The server starts in the rescue system; you then install your operating system with one click.

Is there a setup fee or a long term?

No. There is no setup fee, and the minimum term starts at one month. If you pay six or twelve months in advance, the monthly price goes down – you can see the prices on the server’s page.

Why do servers disappear from the list?

Every server is one of a kind. As soon as someone has rented it, it is gone, and others are added. The list is updated every few minutes.

Can I upgrade the server later?

A server’s hardware is fixed. If your project grows, you order a larger server, move over and cancel the old one at the end of its term.
