An address on your own domain makes a different impression than a free address: customers see right away who an email comes from, and you stay independent of a provider who can change your mailbox at any time.
With an email plan you get exactly that – mailboxes, forwarders and webmail. Web space, databases and website tools are not included, which is why it costs less.
You can register the domain with us, use a domain from your customer account, or connect a domain from another provider. Your website stays untouched.

Setup
Your own address in four steps
When you order, you choose the domain. If it is with us, we enter the records needed for email ourselves. If it is with another provider, our guide shows you which records to set there.
The website records of your domain stay as they are. Only the email part points to us afterwards.
How it works
Choose a plan and a domain
Register a new domain, use a domain from your account, or connect your domain at another provider.
Create mailboxes
In the Webpanel you set the addresses, passwords and the storage for each mailbox.
Connect the domain
For domains with us this happens automatically. Otherwise you set MX, SPF and DKIM at your domain provider.
Set up your email app
Enter address, password and server. The details to type in are listed below.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own domain?
Yes. The addresses end in your domain, for example @your-company.com. If you do not have one yet, you register it right along with your order.
My domain is with another provider – does that work?
Yes. When you order, you choose “connect your own domain” and then set the records for email (MX, SPF, DKIM) at your provider. The domain and your website stay where they are. Our guide shows every record.
Will my website stay online?
Yes. An email plan only changes the records for email. We do not touch the records that point to your website.
How do I set up my email app?
In your email app, choose manual setup and enter: server webmail.nexthosting.net, IMAP port 993 and SMTP port 465, both SSL/TLS. The username is the full address, plus the password of the mailbox.
Can I also read my emails in the browser?
Yes, at webmail.nexthosting.net. There you log in with your address and password and can read and write emails and manage folders.
How good is the spam filter?
Every incoming email is checked and rated. Clear spam lands in the “Spam” folder so your inbox stays clean. If a good email ends up there, simply move it back.
How much storage does a mailbox have?
You divide the plan’s storage yourself: with Team, for example, 30 GB across up to 25 mailboxes, each mailbox up to 10 GB. If space gets tight, you switch to the next plan.
Can I also run a website with the email plan?
No. The email plan is for email only; a website on the domain is blocked. For a website, choose a web space plan – mailboxes are already included there.
Can I take my existing emails with me?
Yes. Set up the new mailbox in your email app next to the old one and drag the folders over. If you need help, send us a ticket.
Are there calendars and contacts?
No, an email plan is email only. You keep syncing calendars and contacts with your current service.
How do I cancel?
In the customer area under your contract. With a 1-month term you cancel with 7 days’ notice, with 6 or 12 months with one month’s notice to the end of the term.
