The Ryzen 9 7950X3D is a processor with 16 cores and 32 threads from 2023. It reaches over 4,100 points per core – almost twice as much as common server processors of older generations.
All Boost plans run on it. Cores, memory and disk space are the same size as with Classic; what differs is the processor, the DDR5 memory and the NVMe SSDs.
What matters
Fast cores count
Game servers, PHP shops and many database queries do most of their work on one core. That is where the Ryzen makes the biggest difference.
DDR5 and NVMe
The memory is faster than DDR4, and NVMe SSDs read and write faster than SATA SSDs. You notice it when starting, loading and saving.
Two locations
The Ryzen is available in Frankfurt and in Cologne. Cologne is a little cheaper; Frankfurt is home to Germany's largest internet exchange.

How fast is one core?
Many applications depend on a single core: game servers, PHP, Node.js, many database queries. Here the Ryzen 9 7950X3D is one of the fastest server processors there is.

What every VPS includes

- Full access via SSH. You decide on software, services and firewall rules.

- Frankfurt am Main or Cologne. You choose the location when you order; it is fixed afterwards.

- Addresses
- One IPv4 and one IPv6 address are included.

- DDoS protection at both locations, automatic and at no extra cost.

Frequently asked questions
Do I get the whole Ryzen 9 7950X3D?
No, a VPS shares the machine with others. You get the vCPU cores, memory and disk space of your plan. If you need the whole hardware for yourself, rent a dedicated server.
Which plan should I take?
For websites, bots and small services, VPS Standard Boost with 2 cores and 4 GB RAM is enough. For shops, game servers and several services, take VPS Pro Boost with 4 cores and 8 GB RAM.
What is the difference between Classic and Boost?
The processor and the parts around it. Classic runs on AMD EPYC (Frankfurt) or Intel Xeon E5 (Cologne) with DDR4 and SSD storage. Boost runs on AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D with DDR5 memory and NVMe SSDs at both locations – much more speed per core and faster storage. Cores, RAM and disk space are the same size for the same plan.
Can I change the location later?
No. You set location and performance when you order. A change means a new server: you order the new VPS, move over and cancel the old one.
How fast is my VPS ready?
Once your payment arrives, it is set up automatically. You receive the access data by email, and they are also in your customer account.
Is there a setup fee or a long contract?
No. There is no setup fee, and the shortest term is one month. Longer terms or prepayment get a discount – you see the prices on the order page.
