Halloween at Nexthosting: 10% off game servers with the code – until November 1
A world that does not depend on your computer: your crew keeps building even when you are not online. You do not pay for slots – how many build along is yours to set.
€19.99 /month · 12 GB RAM · about 4 players
Start with AdvancedA sketch of the Server Manager in the game: that is where you add your server, give it its name and create the session. Address and port are shown in your panel.
Just like the conveyor belt: every mark carries more. You do not pay for slots – you set the number of players yourself in the startup settings. The drawing is to scale: length is memory, every lane a core; the parts show roughly how many players the plan is sized for.

Choose plan – Satisfactory CommunityPrices for monthly payment, final prices (no VAT under § 19 UStG), no setup fee. Up to 15 % less when you pay in advance – the prices per term are on the product page. The player counts are guide values and depend on how big your factory gets. In every plan: a number of players you set yourself, stable version or Experimental, console, file manager and SFTP.
Satisfactory has a menu of its own for this: the Server Manager. The flowchart shows the way to your first shift – and what you need from us along the way.
Customer accountYou open the panel straight from your customer account. That is where you find the address and port of your server.
PanelAddress and port are shown in the panel next to your server. Enter exactly these two values.
Do it right awayClaim the server straight after setup. As long as it belongs to no one, anybody who knows the address can do so.
File managerSaves are stored as .sav files on your server. You download them in the file manager or via SFTP – before switching to Experimental, for example.
The startup settings of your server as a circuit diagram. Each one applies from the next start.
You do not pay for slots: you set yourself how many may build at the same time.
On every start your server fetches the current version of the game.
Stable or Experimental. All players need the same version as the server.
This many of the game’s automatic saves stay on the server.
While joining and during the game. Raise it if players lose the connection while a big factory is loading.
Checks the game files on start and downloads damaged ones again.
Nexthosting Schutz
Every game server at Nexthosting is protected against DDoS attacks at no extra cost. With a dedicated IP address, your server gets a filter all to itself – and you get the panel where you watch every attack bounce off.
All quiet. Blue means your players. They walk through the gate – that is your server's port.
Example, no real data
Moving example from the protection panel: small squares run towards a wall. Blue squares – the players – pass through the gate to the server, during an attack too. Sand-coloured squares – the attack – get stuck at the wall.
Senders that open connections in bulk are locked out automatically while an attack is running. You lift any lock with one click.
Existing connections are never cut. Regulars – anyone who has spent a while on your server – get in straight away, even in the middle of an attack.

The map shows the traffic to your server, country by country. Block a country with one click – or allow only the ones you choose. If you like, the protection blocks attacking countries by itself while an attack is running.

Course, waves and senders, minute by minute – as a PDF and as a table. One click reports the attack to Nexthosting: an urgent notice at once, followed by a full report as a PDF. On request with a confirmation you can hand to the police or other authorities.

Three protection levels – and if you like, the protection tightens by itself when an attack starts. You are told by e-mail and Discord as soon as an attack begins and when it is over. Plus: a test of the protection at the push of a button, co-managers for your community's admins, and traffic per port.
You pick the dedicated IP address as an add-on while ordering. Server location: a data centre in Germany.
The parts list shows what comes with every Satisfactory server. The pictures are taken from the real panel.

Your players can see for themselves whether the server is up and how full it is right now.
Included with every game server at no extra charge, you switch it on in the panel. Player count and map are available for games with a server query, online or offline is always shown.
Example: a Discord channel shows the status message of a server with 12 of 50 players, ping, uptime and address. Below it is a forum post whose signature contains the status banner of the same server. Both show the same player count.

After payment your server sets itself up and starts. On the first start it downloads the game, which takes a little while. You open the panel straight from your customer account; address and port are shown there.
In the main menu of Satisfactory you open the Server Manager, add a server and enter the address and port from your panel. The first time, you claim the server: you give it a name and set an admin password. After that you create a session or upload a save.
Yes. In the Server Manager, under “Manage Saves”, you upload a save from your computer to the server and start it there. Saves are stored as .sav files on your server – you can reach them at any time in the file manager or via SFTP.
You do not pay for slots with us: how many may build at the same time is something you set yourself in the startup settings in the panel. The plans differ only in memory, cores and storage.
As a guide, Basic is sized for about four players, Advanced for about four as well – with more headroom for big factories –, Premium for about eight and Community for about twelve. What your server really carries depends above all on how big your factory gets.
Yes. In the startup settings in the panel you switch the game version from “public” to “experimental”. On the next start your server downloads that version. Back up your state first – and keep in mind that all players need the same version.
On every start your server fetches the current version of the game; you can switch that off in the startup settings. So after an update a restart is all it takes, and you can set that up as a schedule in the panel.
Satisfactory saves the running session by itself at intervals. How many of these saves your server keeps is set in the startup settings – the default is three.
For a backup of the whole server every plan has backup slots: you back up with one click or set up a schedule in the panel yourself.
You move to a larger plan at any time and at once, the difference is charged pro rata; to a smaller one at the end of the term. Or you add memory, cores or storage one by one with “Extend your server”. With monthly billing you can cancel your plan monthly.
Pick a plan, pay – your server sets itself up.
